The IDMC invited me to Geneva to present with a group from Data for Democracy on our system for using machine learning to process news reports about internal displacement.
Adrienne joined me for a quick trip to Switzerland. We did a whirlwind walking tour of Zurich, spent the night in Liechtenstein, and then hopped on the Glacier Express ("The world's slowest express train") for a scenic trip to Zermatt. We did some hiking there and saw the peaks of the alps before heading to Geneva for the meetings.
After our presentations, we spent a day exploring a bit of the area around Lake Geneva, including Lausanne and the Chateau de Chillon.
